I've been listening to An Ancient Muse for the past few weeks, in addition to Live in Paris and Toronto, The Book of Secrets, The Mask and the Mirror, The Visit, To Drive a Cold Winter Away, and A Winter Garden. I know she worked very long and hard on the new album and I am greatly appreciative of the outcome. It does sound very similar in style to the last three studio albums, but I think of this as her trademark style and I love it. If this were the first album of her's that I had ever heard I would have fallen in love with it and gone right out to purchase it and all her others. I'm not disappointed in the least and look forward to seeing her perform again when she comes to Los Angeles.

Love it!! She is incredible, but like Jay, I too was hoping that it would have had more of a Middle Eastern flavour to it. Still it's wonderful.
