Canadian singer/composer Loreena McKennitt will bring the songs of her new studio recording An Ancient Muse, along with highlights from her multimillion-selling back catalogue, to European theatres in March and April 2007.

Accompanied by a stellar cast of musicians, including the core players who appear on An Ancient Muse, McKennitt will present her internationally acclaimed “eclectic Celtic” repertoire in nine European countries on the first leg of her worldwide tour in support of the new studio recording. The dates will include appearances in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, England and Belgium.

This will be Loreena’s first full-fledged tour since 1998 and her first live performances since a sold-out series of three shows at the historic Alhambra monument in Granada, Spain in September 2006.
