    Kelly,

I can confirm you were not the only one to weep, I am not a weeping type the last time I shed any tears is when my father died last year. I can also say these were a different tear, from some place other then grief, the last time I felt anything close to this was at a Mediation Intensive in Santa Monica California this was very much the same feeling. The performance was flawless, the only thing I was left want for was a return date.

I have been a fan since the release of Elemental ( long ago) and from ti,e to time do take some ribbing from friends about gushing over a musical artist, this is until I lend them a CD (which I then have to buy a new one) they are converts.

About the concert I was happy to see a great mix of people there any thing from the very young to the aged. We were all blessed to have this performance and the encores were not typical according to friends who had seen her play at other venues.

I have work to finish and Victoria BC tickets to find so will close my part now.

    - Phil

i have loved loreena since the beginning also....she has in a way inspired the opening of a path that led to a big destiny for me...she has awakened much in the hearts of many. she is ever so much more than a musician, she is a bard, a shaman, a healer and a faerie queen...i could gush forever! i have been sending her gifts and letters and my cd's for the last nine years. i finally got to meet her in person! she was so lovely, and did remember me from my endless gifts in the mail! i got to tell her that the name of my band came from a line of her poetry...she understood...
anyway, my band is at www.woodlandmusic.net...if anyone is interested!

You are absolutely not alone in your tears. I, too, cried, and I know what you mean about the personal aspect of her songs. I would think you could not be moved by anything to not shed a tear at one of her performances, or even when listening to her recordings. I thought she was particularly resplendant and her band was truly fantastic. It was like being on a pilgramage and experiencing a sacred ritual. I felt blessed to be there in her presence, touched by her stories, and fortunate to be living in her time. I hope I don't have to wait another nine years to see her again.
